HP Beti Hai Anmol Yojana 2023: Under the scheme, on the birth of a daughter, the Himachal Pradesh government will deposit a scholarship of Rs 10,000 in the post office or the bank account of the daughter. After this, financial assistance ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 12000 will be given for purchasing books and uniforms from class 1st to class 12th.

Himachal Government has launched Himachal Pradesh Beti Hai Anmol Yojana (HP Beti Hai Anmol Yojana) for the daughters of the state. Under the scheme, financial assistance is provided to the daughters of Himachal Pradesh for their studies.

Through this scheme, there is a provision to provide Rs 12000 for each daughter to the families living below the poverty line. Only 2 daughters of a family can avail the benefit of the scheme. This scheme has been started to improve the sex ratio and to help girls become self-reliant. Under this scheme, the amount given to the daughter can be withdrawn from the bank account after the girl completes the age of 18 years.
