Gate 2024 Registration Date Extended: If you are also going to appear in the Gate 2024 examination, then there is big news for you. Because the last date of application for GATE 2024 has been extended. In such a situation, interested and eligible candidates should now apply by the prescribed date. Because after this the form of any candidate will not be accepted.

GATE 2024: The registration date for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 has been extended. According to the information, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur has extended the last date of application from 29 September to 13 October. A press release has also been issued by the institute in this regard. In which it is said that the last date of application has been extended from September 29 to October 13, 2023. Steps to apply are given at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
Gate 2024 Exam Schedule
As per the schedule, GATE exam will be conducted from February 3 to 11, 2024. The examination will be held at various examination centers across the country. Whereas, the admit card of GATE 2024 will be made available on January 3, 2024 and the result will be released around March 16, 2024. However, the answer key and final answer key will also be released before the result.
Gate 2024 Exam Application Fee
According to the notification, general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1800 for the application. Whereas SC, ST, PWD and women candidates will have to pay Rs 900. At the same time, students who are registering for two papers will have to pay double the amount compared to those who are registering for one exam.
Gate 2024 Exam Paper
According to the information, a total of 30 test papers will be available for GATE. The gate will be conducted in English. MCQ questions will be asked in the exam. No candidate will be allowed to carry calculator etc. during the examination. If any candidate is found with any material related to cheating during the examination, his/her candidature will be cancelled. Besides, legal action will also be taken against him.
Candidates who succeed in GATE are admitted to master’s and doctoral courses in engineering, technology, architecture, sciences and humanities in institutions maintained by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and other government organizations.
